Akasaka Biz Tower
akasaka Sacas, a new town in 5-chome Akasaka, Minato Ward, Tokyo marked its grand opening on March 20, 2008. Akasaka Biz Tower stands tall as one of the key landmarks, housing a combination of a range of functions to provide an optimal business environment.

Akasaka Biz Tower, completed in January 2008, provides a safe and secure work environment with state-of-the-art security systems. Security gates equipped with non-contact IC card readers are installed at the entrance. Elevators operate to only the authorized floor and a control restricting elevators from stopping at the floor is activated when final exit from the floor is confirmed. In cases where an entire floor is used, doors, card readers and electric locks can be installed at the entrance hall as an option.

At Akasaka Biz Tower, a facility logistics system is adopted similar to Tokyo Midtown. All but a few shipments addressed to tenant companies are first consolidated at a sorting space within the building and the delivery within the facility is conducted by an exclusive provider. By preventing an unspecified number of delivery providers from entering the facility, a safe and secure delivery system is provided.

Sky View Lounge
The Sky View Lounge was established as a common-use area in the south end of the office section. The Lounge offers a moment of rest as a space for office workers to refresh. One private room (about 12m2) has been set up on both sides, equipped with a ventilation system so that the rooms can also be used as smoking spaces.

The office lobby is directly connected to Akasaka Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line via the welcome hall. Guide signs in Braille have been installed along that route. In addition, “universal restrooms” with wheelchair access have been established in one location on each floor.
