Nihonbashi is where Mitsui Fudosan is headquartered and is an area deeply connected to the Mitsui Group. The Nihonbashi Revitalization Plan, which will contribute to Nihonbashi's revitalization and creation of new attractions with the town's history and culture as strengths, is being pursued through the united efforts of the public sector, private sector and community. The concept of “proceeding to create while retaining and reviving” is supporting the urban development of Nihonbashi in everything from daily activities to redevelopment plans.

The starting point for urban development lies with retaining the valuable things that have been carried on over the years. In other words, to achieve “harmonious coexistence” of historical architectural structures and traditional cultures.
	The power to revitalize a town comes from learning from the past and benefiting from ancestors' expertise. “Reviving” leads to the “heart of coexistence” of treasuring the bond between people and between human beings and nature.
		We seek to “create values” demanded by the times based on a long-term perspective extending from the past to the future. Our sights are on the “revitalization of Nihonbashi” leading to the “revitalization of Japan.”
