In order to raise the environmental awareness of employees, Mitsui Fudosan created an Eco Life Handbook in fiscal 2009, which includes basic knowledge of environmental issues and a compilation of daily activities, such as energy conservation, or reduction of waste disposal at offices. We distributed it to all employees.

Mitsui Fudosan organized an eco tour in November 2009. Twenty-five people participated (including participants from Mitsui Fudosan Residential Co., Ltd.) and they visited a recycling facility for cans, glass containers, etc., a recycling facility for confidential documents, a central breakwater solid waste depositary field, and a company which supplies energy by recycling food waste. In addition, First Facilities Co., Ltd. and Mitsui Fudosan Hotel Management Co., Ltd. also conduct their originally-designed eco tours.
