The Mitsui Fudosan Group has constructed an environmental management system which is comprised of Mitsui Fudosan and 14 Group companies. In line with its Group Environmental Policy, policies for environmental initiatives have been established for each business area and various environmental initiatives are being carried forward.

Group-wide Environmental Management System
Mitsui Fudosan has established the Environmental Management Committee in the Environmental Special Committee and is working together with its 14 Group companies to systematically promote environmental initiatives. Starting from fiscal 2009, fiscal targets are set for each business area in line with their “Policies for Environmental Initiatives," and they then work on those initiatives. The results of the initiatives are examined and evaluated to be reflected in the initiatives for the following fiscal year.
Furthermore, we established an Environmental Management Office on April 1, 2010 in order to further promote proactive implementation of environmental initiatives. The Environmental Management Office plans and proposes environmental initiatives for the Group and other things, establishes quantitative and quantitative targets and encourages the implementation of initiatives, among other duties. Furthermore, it also serves as the administration office of the Environmental Committee.
*Environmental Committee: We transferred the functions of the former Environmental Special Committee to this committee on April 1, 2010.
