Water Saving

The for-sale condominiums of Mitsui Fudosan Residential Co., Ltd. standardly incorporate water-saving toilets (flushing water amount 6L/time), water-saving kitchen faucets and water-saving showers.

Use of Rainwater

The for-sale condominiums of Mitsui Fudosan Residential Co., Ltd. have rainwater storage facilities installed and are furthering the use of rainwater. Additionally, installment of rainwater storage tanks at the custom-built detached residences of Mitsui Home Co., Ltd is being proposed.

At “Park Court Roppongi Hilltop” (Minato-ku, Tokyo planned for completion in August 2013), a rainwater storage tank (50m3) was installed beneath the first floor underground parking lot, and it is planned to be used for irrigation on the premises and provide functions such as toilet flushing water in times of water outages such as disasters. Additionally, when the aqua garden in front of the garden entrance and the two waterscapes in the cascade hall (15m3) are combined, it becomes possible to store a total 65m3 of water, and it can be used for toilet flushing water (approximately 5400 times) in times of water outages such as disasters.

Use of Rainwater at “Park City Minamiurawa”

At “Park City Minamiurawa,” it is planned to incorporate a rainwater recycling system, store rainwater in a structural tank (80m3) beneath the parking lot and use the water for irrigation of the courtyard “living circle.”

At “Park Tower Yachiyo Midorigaoka” (Yachiyo-shi, Chiba), it is planned to use underground water for irrigation of plants. By drawing water from underground, by using it to irrigate plants and recycling it to underground, a natural water cycle will be preserved.

In February 2012, “Park City Minamisenrioka” (Settsu-shi, Osaka) received the Award for Excellence for the “2011 Fifth Osaka Sustainable Construction Award.”
“Park City Minamisenrioka” is located at the corner of large-scale complex development in front of the Hankyu Kyoto Line Settsu-shi station that aims to achieve a low-carbon society. In addition to the high valuation of the visualization of energy according to systems of each residence and a system that can accumulate that data for energy conservation research, water conservation measures, such as incorporation of rainwater (rainwater storage tank of approximately 90m3 installed), were also a point in the valuation.
Further, “Park City Minamisenrioka” simultaneously received the “Fifth Osaka Excellent Greening Award” of the Osaka Governor Award.
