Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd.

Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. will carry out its first large-scale remodeling of Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport YOKOHAMA since 2013. The large-scale remodeling will seek to further enhance the LaLaport YOKOHAMA facility through the successive opening of approximately 40 new or remodeled stores from March 18, along with the remodeling of facilities and shared areas, including the food court.

  1. Large-scale remodeling of the Specialty Dining FOURSYUN Food Court
The Specialty Dining FOURSYUN food court, which features many famous restaurants and talked-about popular eateries, will see a complete renewal of its interior décor, becoming a garden restaurant partitioned into four areas. Seating capacity in the food court will be increased by around 30% to approximately 720 seats.
The food court will be upgraded further with the opening of four restaurants, including some opening locations in Kanagawa Prefecture for the first time.

  2. Refurbishing of restrooms and nursing rooms to increase the comfort of mothers and families
One priority of this remodeling is to enhance shared areas and create an environment that enables family visitors to better enjoy their shopping experience. Notably, certain restrooms and nursing rooms will be refurbished from the viewpoint of the mothers who will actually be using those facilities. Besides enhancing the facility aspects of the shared areas, the remodeling will also transform them into spaces that increase the comfort of customers who will be using the facilities. This will be done by considering the design aspects of the shared areas through steps including placing plants and other greenery.

  3. Further upgrades through opening of new or remodeled fashion and sundries stores centered on highly sophisticated, popular fashion brands
By further enhancing its rich variety of stores, LaLaport YOKOHAMA will continue to offer products and services that meet the needs of all customers regardless of age group or gender.
