Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. is remodeling Mitsui Shopping Park LaLa Garden Tsukuba, which is now in its 12th year, over two stages.
The first stage of the remodeling started in December last year with store relocations and revamps and involves 11 stores (5 opening anew and 6 after refurbishment), including the large-scale TSUTAYA store with a café. The second stage of remodeling is scheduled to open in the autumn.

Features of the Remodeling
- The TSUTAYA store that integrates a bookstore with a rich array of publications and a café will open on May 20
A collaboration event with existing stores will also take place
- Facilities have been made more convenient and more comfortable for families with young children
- A DOG GARDEN has been newly established as a space for dogs to relax
- A diverse range of stores to make daily living comfortable will open
