Fusing urban convenience and fashion with relaxed suburban life, this commercial facility serves a variety of needs. It is directly linked to Kawasaki Station, and it houses about 300 stores spanning a wide range of services from shopping to gourmet food. One town, with a unique atmosphere.
LAZONA Kawasaki Plaza is full of appealing tenants and facilities, with a focus on regional and local characteristics. The aim of LAZONA Kawasaki Plaza is not just to be a place where consumers buy things, but also to be a place where people can discover new lifestyles and take part in community activities.

In addition to urban casual fashion brands like Coach and Banana Republic, the plaza is home to eateries like Ristorante Ruby Sopraffino, where one can enjoy food and music, as well as Japan's first California Pizza Kitchen. There are also large-scale entertainment facilities like "Namco Wonderpark Hero's Base," as well as a cinema complex, a fitness club, and a community hall. That is, the plaza is not just a place where people buy things, but a place where people spend time, and a place that helps create a sense of community. It is a space one can enjoy the whole day through.

LAZONA combines the Spanish words for "bonds" (lazo) and "area" (zona). It symbolizes ties between society and the land, people and nature, and people with one another.

LAZONA Kawasaki Plaza's huge canopy was designed by the Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill. The approximately 170-meter long structure takes on a new appearance when lit up at night.

Roofa Place is a circular plaza with a diameter of approximately 60 meters lying at the heart of the LAZONA Kawasaki Plaza community. The area has a completely different feeling in the evening than in the daytime, and it fascinates onlookers with design elements involving water, light, sound, and greenery. Roofa Place also has two stages (a grand stage and an aquastage) where a variety of events take place.

Located north of the parking garage are four paths where visitors can enjoy seasonal greenery. Information about Toshiba's former Horikawa factory as well as historically significant numbers are etched into a bench underneath an eight-meter tall cherry tree and on stones at the bottom of a creek running through the area. |

Based on the same design concept as the residential zone's park, this area provides a safe place for children to play. |

Located on the fourth floor of Plaza South, Garden Square is an open-air area rich with greenery. A nice place for the entire family, this area includes an unusual donut-shaped bench.

An outpost of the famous Izumo Taisha, which is dedicated to the god of marriage, was moved from the site of Toshiba's Horikawa factory to the plaza's roof garden. The pond around the shrine contains goldfish raised by employees at the former Toshiba plant. |

The symbol trees are located in the eastern portion of the second floor of Plaza South. Their expansive foliage changes along with the seasons, and they give people a sense of comfort and relaxation. |

Remains of the old Toshiba factory are scattered around the grounds of LAZONA Kawasaki Plaza. One of these is an historical fountain pump. |
