Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower

Shops and Restaurants

The Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower features unique shops and dining in its basement and on its first two floors. In Senbikiya-Sohonten, a fruit shop of long standing in Nihonbashi, a Swarovski chandelier glitters, making fruits from around the world look even better. The building features a total of 14 shops, including Italian and Kaiseki (high-end traditional Japanese food) restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores. All offer the perfect combination of delicious food, convenience, and comfort.

Mitsui Memorial Museum

This museum features a collection of cultural artifacts in Nihonbashi, an area that has prospered since the Edo Period. The museum is located on the seventh floor of the Mitsui Main Building, but its entrance is on the first floor of the Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower. The Mitsui family has collected some 3,700 pieces of art since the Edo Period, and these are managed by Mitsui Bunko as a contribution to local culture.

Atrium

One enters the tower through a four-story vaulted atrium, which is 26 meters high. The space features the symbolic use of glass, which lets in a lot of soft natural light, as well as magnificent historical walls and fine marble. Concerts are regularly held in the atrium, and the wonderful sounds of these concerts make for a peaceful experience.
