This project combines a 1,481-unit residence with a next-generation commercial facility, both of which create a rich and relaxing atmosphere for urban dwellers. A next-generation city has been born in Toyosu, Tokyo's new bayside area.

The one-year anniversary of Urban Dock LaLaport TOYOSU, a commercial facility near central Tokyo
With its ideal location on Tokyo's Inner Harbor, Urban Dock LaLaport TOYOSU is still only some six minutes away from the Ginza area. This pleasant and relaxing large commercial facility, rare in an urban setting, brings together 190 stores. |

Commercial zone: Urban Dock LaLaport TOYOSU
IHI Corporation is in the process of redeveloping Toyosu. Mitsui Fudosan rented land from IHI to build LaLaport TOYOSU, and it owns the buildings it has built. It also manages the commercial facility.
Residential zone: Urban Dock Park City TOYOSU
Mitsui Fudosan and IHI Corporation are jointly building a high-rise condominium complex called Urban Dock Park City TOYOSU. Two other condominium projects are in the works.

We wanted our LaLaport TOYOSU project to take maximum advantage of Toyosu's waterfront location, something hard to find in Tokyo. LaLaport TOYOSU is one of the few retail facilities in Japan where one can relax while watching boats sail in and out of a harbor. In addition, the sophisticated-looking facility boasts a dynamic interior space, bringing to mind an airport, and also features a translucent color scheme.
