Health, food, environment, and energy.
The future challenges that we must resolve are daunting,
and Japan is facing these challenges head-on, right now.
It is our responsibility to solve these challenges and
embrace them with a sense of mission.
In Kashiwa-no-ha Smart City, we have started building
a stage for solutions to those problems open
to everyone based on cooperation and partnership between the
"public, private and academic sectors."
We have set forth three themes of urban development:
"Environmental Harmony," "Health and Longevity," and
"Creation of New Industries."
This city will continue to embody the image of the
"New Vision for the Cities of Tomorrow."
