Effective April 2009, Imperial Hotel carries out reservation services in Japan on behalf of Halekulani and Waikiki Parc Hotel

Mitsui Fudosan and Halekulani Corporation (Hawaii, U.S.A., CEO: Peter Shaindlin), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsui Fudosan, are pleased to announce a new partnership alliance with Japan’s one of most esteemed hotel group, Imperial Hotel, Ltd. Effective April 1, 2009, Imperial Hotel will commence reservation-related services within domestic Japan for globally-acclaimed Hawaiian luxury resort Halekulani and Waikiki Parc Hotel.

“Imperial Hotel Halekulani Resorts Reservation Center” will open April 1, 2009. Planning is underway to launch joint marketing and promotions based on Imperial Club members and its corporate clientele. Further details on this new service and exciting alliance will be announced in March 2009.
In effort to lure more and more Japanese visitors to Hawaii for an exquisite stay, Halekulani and Waikiki Parc Hotel wishes to achieve wider brand recognition and provide enhanced levels of service platform for their loyal Japanese guests by utilizing the reservation/sales/marketing network and strength of the Imperial Hotel. There will be activities and programs ahead combining the power of the two corporate brands and expertise. We expect this newborn alliance to create an exciting synergy for the best of all.
Since Mitsui Fudosan’s share acquisition in Imperial Hotel in October 2007, both parties have discussed and examined ways of cooperation and alliance on various business opportunities. The announcement today constructs a part of this continuing effort between the two.
