This project will involve SuSuMu Corporation building a hotel on a project site that it owns. After construction, the Mitsui Fudosan Group will lease the hotel and operate it. The opening of the hotel is scheduled for the fall of 2017.
The project site faces Sotobori-dori Avenue and is easily accessed, being three minutes on foot from JR Shimbashi Station and six minutes on foot from Ginza Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. It is located in a highly visible part of Tokyo’s Ginza area, which has a concentration of luxury brand retailers and restaurants, making it a popular area among both Japanese and foreign tourists.
The Mitsui Fudosan Group is planning to operate an upper-grade hotel on the site, targeting the dramatic increase in tourists from abroad, as well as both Japanese and foreign customers staying for business and pleasure.
Going forward, the Mitsui Fudosan Group will continue to actively develop new hotels in major urban areas and regional cities designated by government ordinances.
