Major remodeling of Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Koshien
Starting from Saturday, March 18, 44 New or Refurbished Stores will Open, Including Some Opening for the First Time in Kansai and Renewed Dining Zone and Shared Areas

Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. will remodel Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Koshien for the first time since 2011.

Tokyo, Japan, January 10, 2017 - Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd., a leading global real estate company headquartered in Tokyo, announced today that from March 18, 44 new or remodeled stores (31 new and 13 refurbished), including 2 opening in the Kansai region for the first time, will start opening. In addition, the current remodeling involves refurbishing of shared areas including the dining zone (comprised of the restaurant zone and food court), outdoor plaza and kids’ space. The facility will evolve into an even more comfortable place for customers of all generations, including families with children.

Features of the Remodeling

1. Renewed Dining Zone and Opening of the LaLaport Koshien Food Stadium

  • The restaurant zone and food court have become a space remodeled under the theme of trees and greenery, and named the LaLaport Koshien Food Stadium
  • Food court seating has been increased by approx. 100 seats to approx.640 seats. Raised seating areas to delight families with small children have also been newly established
  • LaLaport Koshien Food Stadium will welcome the opening of 12 restaurants of diverse types

2. Renewed Shared Areas Incorporating Customer-Friendly Facilities for All Generations, Including Families with Children

  • The outdoor plaza, MOUNTAIN BREEZE, has been refurbished as a place for families to gather and relax
  • LaLa Kid’s Park on the second floor has been newly established and a kid’s space newly established on the first floor
