Tokyo, Japan, December 6, 2017 - Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd., a leading global real estate company headquartered in Tokyo, and Mitsui Fudosan Hotel Management Co., Ltd. announced today that they have decided on an opening date of June 17, 2018, for the Mitsui Garden Hotel Otemachi located in Uchikanda 2-Chome, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, and June 29, 2018, for Mitsui Garden Hotel Gotanda, located in Higashi Gotanda 2-Chome, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo. The hotels will start accepting reservations on December 6.
Both hotels are located close to the stations of Otemachi and Gotanda, which are in the vicinity of the terminal stations of Tokyo and Shinagawa, respectively, making it convenient in addition to providing easy access to commercial and office areas such as Ginza, Nihonbashi, Shibuya and Shinjuku. The hotel caters to business guests, including Shinkansen users, as well as guests from the domestic and overseas tourism and leisure sectors.
The Mitsui Garden Hotel chain currently operates 20 hotels across Japan with 5,337 rooms. The opening of the two hotels will bring the total to 22 hotels with 5,898 rooms. Going forward, the Group will actively engage in new developments in major urban areas and regional cities designated by government ordinances. The Group will strive to provide services overflowing with hospitality while aiming to realize “hotels that satisfy the senses” and “hotels to remember” as an upper-grade accommodation-style hotel.

1. Features of Mitsui Garden Hotel Otemachi
(1) Location
Located in close vicinity to Otemachi Station, which is used by five train lines including the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line, the hotel enables direct access to major tourist and leisure sites in Tokyo without the need to change trains. In addition, Tokyo Station (Marunouchi North Exit), the gateway to Japan’s major cities, is just 10 minutes’ walk away, making the hotel an excellent base that supports guests’ various plans while they are staying.

This hotel, which is within walking distance of Tokyo Station and the rich greenery of the Imperial Palace, was designed under a concept of being an “urban oasis” to deliver peace of mind and welcome guests in a space filled with trees and greenery. Guest rooms are all capable of accommodating at least two people to enable use by a wide variety of guests from within and outside of Japan. Moreover, the first floor bakery Café and restaurant bakes fresh bread daily and with a finely brewed coffee, offers a place to relax.

2. Features of Mitsui Garden Hotel Gotanda
(1) Location
Located a 3-minute walk from Gotanda Station, the hotel lies between Shinagawa Station, which is convenient for traveling by Shinkansen to major destinations within Japan, and Shibuya Station, which is a gateway to various shopping and sightseeing districts popular among young people. Gotanda station connects to three lines, including the JR Yamanote Line and the Toei Subway Asakusa Line, which provides access to Ginza and Asakusa, thereby making the hotel ideal for both business and leisure activities.
(2) Features
The hotel, located near the Meguro River and so offering views of cherry blossoms in the spring, has a refreshing number of plants in front of it.
