Mitsui Fudosan Makes the CDP Climate Change Report A-List
- Third Consecutive Year Since 2021 -

Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Takashi Ueda) announced today that it has been selected for the 2023 Climate Change A List by the CDP, an international non-profit organization based in London that performs environmental surveys and disclosure. Mitsui Fudosan has achieved this designation for the third consecutive year since 2021. It is the highest ranking in the climate change category and means Mitsui Fudosan has been judged to be a progressive company for climate action at the global level.

The Company has been implementing decarbonization initiatives based on the Group Action Plan to Realize Decarbonized Society established in 2021. Selection as an A-List company, placing Mitsui Fudosan in the top 2% of companies in the world, recognizes the Company’s promotion of renewable energy projects, collaboration with suppliers, and other efforts.

■ About the CDP

The CDP is an international environmental non-profit organization established in the U.K. in 2000 that administers a global environmental disclosure system for corporations and municipalities. Its annual disclosure of environmental information and its evaluation process are widely recognized as the global standard in corporate environmental disclosure. In fiscal 2023, a record-breaking number of companies responded to the CDP’s survey. Respondent companies are ranked with a score from A to D- based on criteria for disclosure comprehensiveness, environmental risk recognition and management, ambitious target-setting, progressive environmental initiatives, and other areas.
