1. WANGAN ACTION DANCE STUDIO to open on Saturday, June 8, 2024
WANGAN ACTION DANCE STUDIO will open on Saturday, June 8, 2024. We will promote the joint development of kids’ dance programs at dance studios operated by LL MUSIC Corporation and collaboration in holding various events to promote dance culture.
Dance Cube Kachidoki, a mixed-use ballet commercial facility that we have operated since 2014, was relocated in 2023 to PARK TOWER KACHIDOKI MID, which was completed as part of the Kachidoki East District Type 1 Redevelopment Project, and the facility will serve as a new cultural center.
2. Promotion of dance sports culture by holding professional-led kids’ dance lessons and events
WANGAN ACTION DANCE STUDIO will implement various initiatives to promote dance sports culture, such as holding kids’ dance lessons taught by famous professional dancers and dance events in collaboration with various producers.
(1) Regular dance lessons for kids given by Shizunyan, a well-loved producer in the world of kids’ dance as the first event
A kids’ dance lesson studio will be launched at LL MUSIC Corporation, for which Shizunyan, a well-loved producer in the kids’ dance world, serves as representative director. The instructor, a winner of various competitions and active in the dance world, will teach students with kindness and attentive instruction.
(2) Kid’s dance lessons and workshops taught by professional dancers from the D.League
WANGAN ACTION DANCE STUDIO will hold kids’ dance lessons and workshops in an event format that will be taught by professional dancers from the D.League. The events are open to a wide range of people, from those with no dance experience to those who want to become professionals, and active D-League dancers will share the fun and appeal of dance.
3. Dispatch of D.League professional dancers as instructors to elementary and junior high schools in the Tokyo Bay area
We believe that early exposure to authentic dance sports culture from a young age is the most important factor in fostering and spreading such culture. From October 2023, we began collaborating with the Chuo-ku Board of Education and elementary and junior high schools in the Chuo-ku bay area (Tsukishima Daisan Elementary School, Tsukudajima Elementary School, Tsukuda Junior High School, Tsukishima Daiichi Elementary School, etc.), and began sending D.League professional dancers to elementary and junior high schools as instructors to provide students with opportunities to experience dance. These activities have received very positive feedback from students, who enjoyed watching the professional dancers up close and learning from them. The activities have also helped reduce the burden on schools, which have been a required to teach dance in junior high schools since 2012; many teachers commented that “teaching dance to students is difficult, challenging, and involves a lot of preparation, but this time was easier.” After the opening of the facility, we will gather dancers to the facility and aim to further contribute to local children and school education.

■About WANGAN ACTION
http://wangan-action.jp/ (in Japanese)
Based on the theme of “delivering happiness to customers after living there,” we promote business that simultaneously provides not only the tangible aspects of condominiums, but also the intangible aspects of “fulfilling time” and “richness of spirit.” In addition, we are working hard on activities that contribute to the SDGs and new business domains, and intend to vitalize the Tokyo Bay area by taking a holistic view of the entire area. This is an initiative by Mitsui Fudosan Residential, which supports various activities that allow residents to experience and share enjoyment in a wide variety of fields such as food, sports, art, education, music, and environment in order to form a community with the residents as one and create a neighborhood where they will want to continue living.
■ Sustainability in the Mitsui Fudosan Group
Based on the meaning of its “& mark,” “to generate new value with society through cooperation, coexistence and co-creation, we forge ahead, innovating,” the Mitsui Fudosan Group views the “creation of social value” and the “creation of economic value” as two wheels of a cart. Accordingly, we believe that the creation of social value leads to the creation of economic value, and that this economic value then creates even greater social value.
Moreover, we identified six Group Materiality priority issues when formulating our new management philosophy in April 2024. These Group Materiality priority issues are (1) Contribute to industrial competitiveness, (2) Coexist with the environment, (3) Health and Vitality, (4) Safety and security, (5) Diversity and inclusion, and (6) Compliance and governance. The Mitsui Fudosan Group will work to address each of the materialities through its core business activities and contribute to the promotion of sustainability.
