TOYOTA AUTOMALL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
Tokyo, Japan, July 9, 2025 — Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd., a leading global real estate company headquartered in Tokyo, announced today that it has agreed to acquire all shares of TOYOTA AUTOMALL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (hereafter, “TAC”) from Toyota Motor Corporation (hereafter, “TMC”) on August 29, 2025.
Concurrently with this share acquisition, Mitsui Fudosan and Toyota Fudosan Co., Ltd. (hereafter, “Toyota Fudosan”) will acquire the retail facilities owned by TAC (COLORFUL TOWN GIFU, TRESSA YOKOHAMA). Leveraging the Mitsui Fudosan Group’s expertise in retail facility management and its network of existing facilities, the two companies aim to further enhance customer satisfaction and the value of their properties.
< Significance of the Project >
TAC has owned and managed COLORFUL TOWN GIFU (Gifu City, Gifu Prefecture) and TRESSA YOKOHAMA (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) for many years, and has built a strong customer base, particularly in the surrounding areas, along with solid expertise in retail facility management. This project will enable the companies involved to strengthen collaboration with the retail facilities that the Mitsui Fudosan Group owns and manages in the eastern Kanagawa area (Mitsui Shopping Park LAZONA Kawasaki Plaza and Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport YOKOHAMA) and in the Chukyo region (Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport NAGOYA Minato AQULS, Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport AICHI TOGO, Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport ANJO, Mitsui Outlet Park JAZZ DREAM NAGASHIMA, Mitsui Outlet Park OKAZAKI, and RAYARD Hisaya-odori Park). In addition, by harnessing TAC’s expertise in automobile dealerships and mobility, the companies involved can expect to further expand their customer bases and enhance the value of their properties.
