Mitsui Fudosan Selected as a Supplier Engagement Leader, the Highest Ranking in the CDP2021 Supplier Engagement Rating

Tokyo, Japan, February 14, 2022 - Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd., a leading global real estate company headquartered in Tokyo, announced today that it has been selected by the CDP, an international non-profit organization based in London that performs environmental surveys and disclosure, as a Supplier Engagement Leader, which is the highest ranking in the CDP2021 Supplier Engagement Rating.

The Supplier Engagement Rating is a survey of how companies reduce greenhouse gas emissions, address climate change risks, conduct supplier engagement practices and carry out related activities throughout their supply chains. In 2021, the CDP selected the top 8% of all surveyed companies (approximately 500 companies worldwide, including 105 Japanese companies) as Supplier Engagement Leaders. In December 2021, Mitsui Fudosan was selected for the CDP2021 Climate Change A List. Following on from this recognition, Mitsui Fudosan has once again earned the highest ranking from the CDP.

Seeking to link diverse values, coexist in harmony with society and achieve a sustainable society, as symbolized by the Company’ s “ ” logo, the Mitsui Fudosan Group works to foster social and economic development as well as global environmental preservation under its “ ” Group vision.

As a part of its efforts to address climate change, Mitsui Fudosan has set medium- to long-term greenhouse gas emissions targets, and in November 2021 it established a concrete, all-encompassing strategy, the Group Action Plan to Realize Decarbonized Society. Mitsui Fudosan believes that its selection as a Supply Chain Engagement Leader is a recognition of its efforts in these areas. Looking ahead, the company will continue working toward realizing a decarbonized society based on its Group Action Plan.
