Mitsui Fudosan Selected for the Third Consecutive Year as a Supplier Engagement Leader, the Highest Ranking in the CDP 2023 Supplier Engagement Rating

Tokyo, Japan, March 13, 2024 – Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd., a leading global real estate company headquartered in Tokyo, announced today that it has been selected for the third consecutive year by the CDP, an international non-profit organization based in London that performs environmental surveys and disclosure, as a Supplier Engagement Leader, the highest ranking in the CDP 2023 Supplier Engagement Rating.

The Supplier Engagement Rating is a survey of how companies reduce greenhouse gas emissions, address climate change risks, and effectively collaborate with suppliers throughout their supply chains. The CDP selects the top surveyed companies as Supplier Engagement Leaders. In February 2024, Mitsui Fudosan was also selected for the CDP 2023 Climate Change A List for the third consecutive year. Following on from this recognition, Mitsui Fudosan has once again earned the highest ranking from the CDP.

The Company has been implementing decarbonization initiatives based on the Group Action Plan to Realize Decarbonized Society established in 2021. Selection as a Supplier Engagement Leader comprehensively recognizes the efforts the Company has made to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in collaboration with its suppliers.

The CDP is an international environmental non-profit organization established in the U.K. in 2000 that administers a global environmental disclosure system for corporations and municipalities. Its annual disclosure of environmental information and its evaluation process are widely recognized as the global standard in corporate environmental disclosure.
